If you have a feeling of growing curiosity about the recently rumored HTC DLX for Verizon, you’ll probably be quite happy to hear that androidcentral has just posted the first pictures of the upcoming device.

The HTC device stands out for different interesting features. First of all, the size, since it’ll be the first 5-inch display handset to be released by the company, which feature may or may not appeal users, depending on their needs.

From a spec perspective, we find a 1080p full HD display, confirmed by the pictures published. According to leaks, it’ll sport a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor (running at 1.5 GHz) , though the pic only says “quadcore.”  The pic also shows 2 gigabytes of “memory,” which can be considered to be RAM.

As for design, androidcentral source says  the back is reminiscent of the Droid Incredible 2, so figure soft-touch over polycarbonate. We find the usual dark red highlights used by Verizon and physical buttons. The rear speaker has the same design as the One X. Something new about the power button which is said to be centered on the top bezel, not off to one side like on most HTC phones.

On the camera side if things, the picture says 8 megapixels on the front camera and  2 megapixels on the back.

The device runs Android 4.1.1, with Sense 4+ and  Beats Audio is on board. We can spot the 4G LTE logo as well.

As you already know, nothing is real until made of official, but we’re sure the pictures can help you get a clearer idea of how next HTC device is going to be.
